Derek Jeter Looking for a Home in Los Angeles?

Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly Home Shopping

Derek Jeter has kept his relationship with ‘Friday Night Lights’ star Minka Kelly quiet since they began dating earlier this year. They have been seen only occasionally in public together. Kelly, 28, was previously romantically involved with John Mayer, while Jeter, 34, had a highly publicized relationship with Mariah Carey.

Now they may be taking the next step, as the couple reportedly is looking to buy a home in Los Angeles. Should the New York Yankees be worried? Or will they buy the Dodgers to make sure they can keep Jeter in the family?

Looks like Derek and his girlfriend are looking to buy a house in LA. I don’t know what this means exactly. I don’t think Derek ever plans on leaving the Yankees. Jeter’s friends (Torre, Mattingly, & Bowa) are all in the Dodgers organization which makes this interesting. Maybe he is just shopping for a summer home. I’m not worried about this at all—and neither should you guys. The thought of Derek playing for another team would drive me and all other Yankee fans crazy. Haha.
