NFL Power Rankings: Bottom-Feeders That Won't Escape the Cellar in 2011
The idea is to get better after having a terrible season.
But three NFL teams in particular have picked up right where they left off this season, and that's a bad thing.
Teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos are prime examples of doing it the right way, rebounding after a dismal 2010.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The following teams, however, don't even know what "the right way" is.
3. Cleveland Browns (4-9)
How do you assure everyone that you are still the Cleveland Browns?
Why, lose, of course (sorry, Browns fans).
After going 5-11 last season, the Browns are 4-9 so far this season, compounded by a lackluster receiving corps, a quarterback in Colt McCoy who has fallen off a cliff and an overall offense averaging 13.7 points per game.
Their running back situation has taken a turn for the worse while Peyton Hillis continues to follow the Madden tradition of getting cursed.
The last thing the Browns need is more curses.
2. Minnesota Vikings (2-11)
The Vikings have two stars on their team.
When one of them is held out due to injury, it only gets worse.
After going 6-10 last season, the Vikings have actually gotten worse, marred by a bad defense and spotty quarterback play.
There is hope with quarterback Christian Ponder, but the Vikings needs to add multiple pieces if they expect to contend in the near future.
1. St. Louis Rams (2-11)
The Rams, coming off a 7-9 season, were expected by many to win the NFC West this season.
Instead, they've completely imploded, from the coaching staff to the players. This includes second-year quarterback Sam Bradford, who played horribly against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.
Head coach Steve Spagnuolo needs to be fired, and most of the roster needs to be uprooted.
When you have a superstar like running back Steven Jackson and you still play like this, that's truly a bad sign.
