Missouri Football: Missouri Schedule an Easier Entry into the SEC Than A&M

Larry BurtonDec 7, 2011

Today, FBS Reports leaked Missouri's SEC schedule for next season. It's certainly an easier road than that of fellow SEC-newcomers Texas A&M, who's schedule was written up in an article earlier today.

Here's a look at Missouri's SEC schedule with an all too premature look at the possible results and SEC finish.

Home

Kentucky - The Cats just suck and Missouri should roll in this one.

Vanderbilt - New coach James Franklin has this team believing, but it could be a close win.

Georgia - The Dogs bring back a lot of talent, but Missouri does well, just not well enough for a win.

Texas A&M - Could be a close loss or a close win. Let's go with close loss.

Away

South Carolina - Spurrier will guide them to a win here, Missouri loses.

Florida - The Gators are improving, but not fast enough. This will be a close win.

Tennessee - Someone needs to put them out of their misery and Missouri will with a win.

Ole Miss - Looks like an easy win.

SEC Season Results

6-2 and Missouri goes bowling

Missouri has a much easier path than the other first-year entrant, Texas A&M, and the fans and players will likely think that joining the SEC was the right thing to do.
