WWE News: Huge Update on Jan. 2 Mystery Superstar
According to F4WOnline.com, the identity of the mystery superstar slated to return on Jan. 2 2012 will become much clearer on the Monday Night Raw after the TLC Pay-Per-View. Apparently, any doubt fans have had about the enigmatic promos will be washed away with newfound clarity.
However, until then, we'll just have to wait with bated breath to witness "the familiar force" who will return to "claim what is his."
That being said, speculation has been running rampant for weeks now that the wrestler in question is none other than Chris Jericho. Members of the WWE universe have even gone so far as to create professional-looking videos heralding the grandiose return of Y2J.

Perhaps they're right, because according to PWInsider.com, via 411Mania.com, Jericho is "indeed" the inscrutable star behind the YouTube videos.
The tone, colors and overall layout of the videos are meant to misdirect fans into thinking it's The Undertaker when, in actuality, it is supposedly the former "Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla" making his WWE homecoming. The report reconciles this by noting Undertaker isn't scheduled to make his annual comeback until after the Royal Rumble event.
As for Jericho denying that he is coming back—even going so far as to tweet he will "never wrestle for the WWE again"—this is really par for the course for him, as he's been known in the past to be very protective of his wrestling status. For those who remember, Y2J was equally mum about his second WWE return in Nov. 2007.
Sooner than later, though, we'll all know for sure.
