WWE Raw Supershow/TLC 2011: Dolph Ziggler Positioned to Enter WWE Title Chase

Last night on the Raw Supershow, Dolph Ziggler finally made his argument as to why he deserves a WWE title shot, and it is hard to disagree with him.

He reminded us that he is currently WWE's longest-reigning champion, and that he had the most entertaining match, night after night, on purpose. There is no doubt that since he came to WWE, Ziggler has improved tenfold. His in-ring ability is matched only by his dedication to improving.

His mic skills are better than average, and with Vickie by his side he is sure to get a great heel reaction every time he is on the show.

Last night, Ziggler almost ended up in two matches for the third PPV in a row. He is now set to face Zack Ryder for his US title, and he had the chance to also get a spot in the WWE title match at TLC.

Unfortunately for Ziggler, Sheamus got the better of him after Ryder provided the distraction, allowing Sheamus to hit the Brogue Kick and get the pin.

If Ryder ends up winning the US title at TLC, then we could see Ziggler jump into the chase for the WWE title.

He already proved that he and CM Punk can put on a good match, and Ziggler even expressed displeasure in the performance in a recent interview with The Miami Herald, saying they could have torn the house down.

Combine Ziggler and Punk with Del Rio and Miz, and you have several combinations that could provide great matches and feuds for a long time.

I actually have what I feel is a great way for Ziggler to make his impact right away. After he loses the match with Ryder at TLC, he comes out during the triple threat WWE title match, takes out everyone with a chair and climbs the ladder to take down the WWE title, screaming, "This should be mine!"

Then he exits the ring and leaves with the belt, leaving the other three men bruised and confused. It would allow him to get right into the mix and get on the bad side of the other three men involved in the WWE title hunt right now.

I think if anyone deserves a shot at the WWE title right now, it is Dolph Ziggler. What do you think?
