WWE Network: Watch the Preview of the Channel That Debuted on RAW Super Show

Chris HumphreyDec 6, 2011

During last night's RAW Super Show, we had the first preview promo of the brand new WWE Network that is set to roll out next year.

I, for one, am looking forward to the debut of the network as it will feature live action from superstars from today's WWE but will also take a look back into the past by featuring events from WCW, ECW and many other promotions now in the WWE video collection.

The WWE Network is billed to be one of the most interactive networks in history; there has already been voting on WWE.com about the name of the first show on the network.

WrestleMania Rewind was voted on by the fans of the WWE Universe as a look back on the greatest moments from the first event at Madison Square Garden in 1985 to the upcoming 28th edition in Miami next spring.

There has also been talk the WWE will take all of their monthly events off pay-per-view and put them on the WWE Network with the exception being the "Big Four" events during the year being the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Survivor Series.

I think the idea of moving the pay-per-views to the network is a great idea as the buy rates for the events have seemed to be going down at an alarming rate in previous months in addition to people watching online for free on sites streaming the event.

With a quick preview of what will be on the new WWE Network in the video, what do you think about the new channel being brought out by the WWE?

Is it going to be the next big thing for the company in the years to come?

Will it flop just like Vince McMahon's idea for a competitor for the NFL; the short lived XFL?

Let me know how you feel in the comments below on the new WWE Network.
