BCS Bowl Predictions: Oregon Will Prove Wisconsin Is Inferior in Rose Bowl

The Ducks are one of the four best teams in the nation. They were beaten by the best team in the nation—LSU—in the season opener and most recently by an underrated USC Trojans' team.

The last loss was the most crippling to the outside shot at the national championship. The BCS and pollsters were cruel to the Ducks after the LSU loss, dropping them so far out of sight, it was a year long climb to get back in striking distance.

When they finally got in range, Matt Barkley and the Trojans happened. The Badgers had their chance to reach the national championship, but they were derailed by a hail-mary at the hands of their Big Ten championship opponents' Michigan State.

They would suffer another heartbreaking loss at the hands of Ohio State. That loss, was the most crippling for the Badgers, just as was the case for the Ducks.

Oregon already manhandled UCLA, though the Bruins gave a valiant effort, staying within 18 points at 49-31. The Badgers will have a much more difficult assignment in the Big Ten title game with the Spartans, but they will avenge the painful loss from Week 7.

The overall team speed of Oregon is too much for the Badgers. The Badgers can only compete athletically at a few spots on the field. Obviously, Montee Ball is among the best players in the nation, but the Badgers defense hasn't faced an offense like the Oregon all season.

The Ducks have absorbed losses to LaMichael James and Darren Thomas and the offense hasn't faltered. This speaks to the depth the Ducks have on that side of the ball.

The Ducks score 46 points per game and they have speed all over their offense. The Ducks will defeat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.
