TUF 14 Finale: Predicting Fight, Submission and KO of the Night Winners

G DDec 2, 2011

In just a few short hours, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will make its way back to Las Vegas, Nev. for The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale.

The highly-anticipated event will take place at the Palms Casino Resort beginning at 8 p.m. PT/ET.

In the main event of the evening, Jason "Mayhem" Miller will make his return to the Octagon after not having fought in over a year.

Miller will take on the outspoken Michael Bisping in a 185-pound showdown to determine who moves closer to a middleweight title shot.

Also featured on the main card are the bantamweight and featherweight finales between T.J. Dillashaw and John Dodson as well as Diego Brandao vs. Dennis Bermudez.

The fight card is filled with promise as there will be many exciting bouts throughout the evening.

The following slides display the predictions for Fight, Submission and Knockout of the Night at TUF 14 Finale.

Let's take a look.

Fight of the Night: Diego Brandao vs. Dennis Bermudez

1 of 3

In one of the most anticipated bouts of the evening in Las Vegas, Nev., Diego Brandao will take on Dennis Bermudez in the featherweight finale.

Over the course of this season, both Brandao and Bermudez proved to be the toughest 145-pound fighters on the show week in and week out.

Brandao, arguably the best striker with the most knockout power, will look to finish Bermudez as soon as the opening bell rings.

However, Bermudez doesn't go down easy as he's proven to have a strong chin and unmatchable heart.

Fans can expect this bout to be an all-out-war type of fight.

Submission of the Night: Jason 'Mayhem' Miller

2 of 3

When action begins in the main event of the evening, Jason "Mayhem" Miller will look to shed off any cage rust that may be present as he hasn't fought in over a year.

It's likely Miller will look to avoid the stand-up as his opponent Michael Bisping holds the obvious advantage.

Therefore, Miller will look to put Bisping in an unfamiliar position as he's never been submitted in his career.

However, Miller is one of the best submission artists Bisping has ever faced as he's submitted an impressive 14 opponents over the course of his career.

Knockout of the Night: Tony Ferguson

3 of 3

At last season's finale, it was Tony Ferguson who was declared victorious as he knocked out Ramsey Nijem in the very first round of action.

Now, just six months later, Ferguson will be fighting at the Season 14 Finale against arguably his toughest opponent to date in Yves Edwards.

Unfortunately for Edwards, Ferguson has been an absolute force in the stand-up as he's knocked out an eye-opening eight opponents in just 14 career fights.

Fans shouldn't be surprised to see Ferguson win his sixth consecutive fight by way of knockout.
