Mark Teixeira Should Be Nestled Under Someone’s Christmas Tree…

The feeling around the league is that Teixeira will have a new team before Christmas. With the Angels pulling out of the race, the teams that are left in the sweepstakes are the Red Sox, Nationals, Orioles, and Yankees.

The deal will be close to $180 million, but that can change depending on the years and what team he chooses. It gets really annoying when the rumors sway back and forth between the teams.

I guess it's just part of the game. I am a supporter of the Yankees signing Manny over Tex. If they happen to get Teixeira though...I won’t be angry. I don’t want to hear that Tex isn’t a good player, because he definitely is, but I feel Manny would bring excitement and more fear in the Yankees.
