NFL Power Rankings Week 13: ESPN Experts' 4 Most Overrated Teams
When the Worldwide Leader in Sports has something to say, you better listen.
Especially when they're talking about football.
Earlier on Tuesday, the folks at ESPN released their weekly NFL Power Rankings. Truth be told, there really aren't many surprises in their rankings, as most of the teams are where they should be. However, I think ESPN has a couple of teams ranked a little too high in their Week 13 rankings. There are four in particular that caught my eye.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's discuss.
Kansas City Chiefs (No. 21 on ESPN)
Since playing their way into the thick of the AFC West race with a four-game win streak during October, the Chiefs failed to win a single game in November. They dropped four in a row, and they lost quarterback Matt Cassel for the season in the process.
At this point, the Chiefs are without a doubt one of the more beatable teams in the NFL. Despite that, ESPN has them ranked ahead of teams like the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks, both of whom are at least capable of putting up a fight on a weekly basis.
I don't think you can say the same about the Chiefs. Sure, they played the Steelers tough on Sunday night, but that shouldn't cloud the reality that the Chiefs are a sinking ship. They deserve to be much lower than No. 21.
Detroit Lions (No. 11 on ESPN)
Since starting the season 5-0, the Lions have lost four of their last six games. To make matters worse, they are coming off a loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving day in which they embarrassed themselves in just about every way possible.
The Lions are still a good team, but they're nowhere near as good as they were earlier in the season. They really have no business being ranked ahead of teams like the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals, both of whom would easily handle the Lions if given the chance.
Going forward, you can expect the Lions to keep trending downwards. They still have games at New Orleans, at Oakland and at Green Bay, so I think it's fair to say they're in for a rough finish.
Dallas Cowboys (No. 8 on ESPN)
The Cowboys have won four games in a row and have taken control of the NFC East. What's not to like?
Admittedly, not much. After starting slow, the Cowboys have come on very strong, and I think they're a lock to make the playoffs.
But they're not the eighth-best team in the NFL. As well as they're playing right now, the Cowboys are very beatable. In fact, they could have easily been beaten by the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins in their last two games.
Personally, I feel like I need to see more from the Cowboys. They've gotten to where they are by beating bad teams, and that doesn't make them a great team. It just means they're not bad.
Houston Texans (No. 7 on ESPN)
If the Texans were 100 percent healthy right now, they'd be in the top five.
But alas, the Texans are less than 100 percent healthy. No doubt you've heard that they've lost Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart for the season, and now they are down to using rookie T.J. Yates at quarterback.
The Texans are solid everywhere else, but it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt when they have such a rocky quarterback situation.
There are a handful of teams that could be ranked ahead of the Texans. In my own rankings, I have the Bengals and Raiders ahead of them, both of whom would be able to beat the Texans at this juncture.
I guess it's also worth noting that the Raiders already have beaten the Texans this year.
