NFL Week 13 Picks: Score Predictions for Every Game on the Schedule

Ryan PhillipsNov 29, 2011

After nailing a ton of picks over the past few weeks, I think I finally have a handle on this wacky 2011 NFL season.

Here are my picks for each game on the schedule for Week 13.

Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) at Seattle Seahawks (4-7)

Even without Michael Vick—who is likely to miss another game thanks to his fractured ribs—the Eagles should be able to outclass the Seahawks.

Philadelphia 24, Seattle 14

Tennessee Titans (6-5) at Buffalo Bills (5-6)

The Bills are stumbling down the stretch after a 4-1 start and they face a Titans team that has been very good defensively this season. Tennessee grabs a road win in this one.

Tennessee 21, Buffalo 13

Kansas City Chiefs (4-7) at Chicago Bears (7-4)

Even with Caleb Hanie at quarterback the Bears should be able to get by a Chiefs team that will be sporting either Kyle Orton or Tyler Palko under center.

Chicago 28, Kansas City 17

Oakland Raiders (7-4) at Miami Dolphins (3-8)

While the Dolphins are vastly improved from where they started the season, the Raiders are on a roll and their rushing attack is leading the way. Expect them to run all over the Dolphins on their way to a fourth straight win.

Oakland 27, Miami 24

Denver Broncos (6-5) at Minnesota Vikings (2-9)

Von Miller will terrorize rookie quarterback Christian Ponder and force him to make critical mistakes and Tim Tebow will do just enough to get another win for the Broncos.

Denver 17, Minnesota 13

Indianapolis Colts (0-11) at New England Patriots (8-3)

What looked like a good matchup at the beginning of the season will now be a laugher. Tom Brady and the Pats will roll over the hapless Colts.

New England 45, Indianapolis 3

Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)

The Bengals will be trying to get revenge for a 24-17 home loss in Week 10. They will fail as Andy Dalton will be under assault all afternoon. The Steelers will get a solid home win.

Pittsburgh 28, Cincinnati 10

Carolina Panthers (3-8) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)

Cam Newton finally helped his team win its third game against the Colts in Week 12, but I don't think he starts a winning streak on Sunday. The Buccaneers have looked much better than their record and they should get a home win.

Tampa Bay 31, Carolina 24

New York Jets (6-5) at Washington Redskins (4-7)

Did Mark Sanchez turn a corner with his four-touchdown performance against the Bills, or was that just fool's gold? We'll find out against the Redskins on Sunday. I think Sanchez tosses three touchdowns and leads the Jets to a solid win.

New York (Jets) 28, Washington 14

Atlanta Falcons (7-4) at Houston Texans (8-3)

With Matt Leinart and Matt Schaub both out for the season, the Texans have a huge question mark at quarterback. That means they'll have to run the ball to win and Atlanta sports the NFL's second-best run defense (allowing 83.5 yards per game). The Falcons will do just enough to get a road win in a surprisingly low-scoring defensive battle.

Atlanta 14, Houston 10

Baltimore Ravens (8-3) at Cleveland Browns (4-7)

It's not really in the Ravens' nature to blow anyone out but this weekend is as close as they'll get to dropping a spanking on someone.

Baltimore 38, Cleveland 17

Green Bay Packers (11-0) at New York Giants (6-5)

The Giants are so up and down it is really hard to know what to make of them. They'll come to play against the Packers, but Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are just too good right now.

Green Bay 35, New York (Giants) 27

Dallas Cowboys (7-4) at Arizona Cardinals (4-7)

The Cowboys have won four straight and they'll make it five on Sunday against a hapless Arizona team that just doesn't have any identity.

Dallas 31, Arizona 14

St. Louis Rams (2-9) at San Francisco 49ers (9-2)

The Rams are probably the NFL's second-worst team and the 49ers have played like one of the league's best. This will be a low-scoring affair but it will go exactly how you would expect. The 49ers will improve to 6-1 at home and 10-2 on the season.

San Francisco 27, St. Louis 14

Detroit Lions (7-4) at New Orleans Saints (8-3)

A few weeks ago this looked destined to be one of the games of the year. But now the Lions are stumbling having lost four of six, while the Saints appear to be firing on all cylinders. Both trends continue this weekend.

New Orleans 35, Detroit 21

San Diego Chargers (4-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-8)

I feel bad for whoever picked this as a Monday night game before the season started. Who knew both teams would have such horrible seasons? Picking a winner here is like picking between a rotten egg and spoiled milk. I'll go with the Chargers simply because they have more talent.

San Diego 28, Jacksonville 24
