John Cena Piper's Pit Video: Watch WWE Legend Roddy Piper Chastise Cena

 John Cena’s gimmick needs a reboot. The WWE brought in legend Rowdy Roddy Piper to start the process of giving the star a new swagger.

It’s becoming blatantly obvious that all the boos that rain down on Cena when he enters an arena are getting to him. Either that or they’re getting to Vince McMahon.

I’d put my money on the latter.

There is no question that John Cena is one of the best superstars in the business today, but people are tired of the same thing over and over again.

Cena came out and said it's time to change the WWE title to something besides the spinner belt because that is played out now. When even Cena admits that his gimmick is slow and old, it’s time for a change.

There hasn’t been anything new from Cena in years, but that doesn’t mean he is down. Just like every other legend whose gimmick grew stale, it’s time for a change.

WWE.com is teasing a possible shift in attitude from the star, and that’s a change most fans would welcome.

The best idea for John Cena would be doing exactly what they did for Randy Orton for John Cena. While it’s obvious he has to remain a face, they need to make him look like a wild man.

Cena can still be an inspiration to kids while he is whooping ass, but he needs to appeal to fans over the age of 14 as well.

I rather have the Thugonomics John Cena back then go on with what we currently are exposed to.
