NFL Picks Week 13: Teams That Will Overcome QB Concerns to Prevail
It's not easy to win in the National Football League when you are lacking at the quarterback spot, considering quarterback is the most important position in football.
Very rarely do you see a team go far without a solid quarterback (with the exception of Trent Dilfer and the Baltimore Ravens in 2001).
That's why three teams with quarterback issues winning in the same week is something of an anomaly.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three teams that will overcome quarterback concerns to prevail in Week 13.
Washington Redskins (4-7)
Call me crazy, but I see the Washington Redskins defeating the New York Jets in Week 13.
The Jets may have beaten the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, 28-24, but that's not that impressive considering the Bills are ranked 24th in pass defense and have given up 25.5 points per game this season.
In short, I don't buy Mark Sanchez's performance in Week 12. He may have thrown four touchdowns, but he also completed under 50 percent of his passes against a bad pass defense and threw a pick in the process.
As for the Redskins, they are a different team with Rex Grossman under center instead of John Beck. I'm not saying Grossman is a great quarterback, but he is better than Beck and he's played well the last two games, throwing for 314 yards in Week 12.
On top of that, rookie running back Roy Helu has emerged as a legitimate threat (goodbye, Ryan Torain) and the Redskins are ranked 10th in pass defense while allowing 20.2 points per game.
With the Redskins at home, expect them to give Jets head coach Rex Ryan more headaches.
Chicago Bears (7-4)
We saw in Week 12 what happens to the Bears when starting quarterback Jay Cutler gets injured and backup Caleb Hanie decides to throw the ball.
In short, it results in a lot of interceptions and a loss to the Oakland Raiders.
But in Week 13, the Bears face the bumbling, stumbling Kansas City Chiefs, and the Chiefs can't seem to do anything right.
New acquisition Kyle Orton will probably start for the Bears in Week 13, and he has shown he has the capability of leading a team.
But it won't matter. The Chiefs are a train that has derailed and is headed down a cliff and the Bears have been better defensively lately.
Denver Broncos (6-5)
That's right, Tim Tebow fans!
I'm calling out Tebow!
....Yeah, I know, it's kind of lost its luster by now.
Nonetheless, lost in the fact that Tebow is 5-1 as a starter this season, he's completed just 45 percent of his passes and the Broncos are averaging under 20 points per game in those starts (translation: Tebow isn't the only "winner." The defense is, too).
But Tebow's inadequacies won't matter in Week 13, because the Broncos get to face the 2-9 Minnesota Vikings...without Adrian Peterson.
There really isn't anything else to say. The Broncos will win in Week 13.
