WWE Raw Preview: The WWE Title Is on the Line Plus Piper's Pit Returns

Kyle SchadlerNov 28, 2011

Tonight, WWE returns with Monday Night Raw.

Last week was the best show they've put on in a long time, and I hope they’re able to keep it up all the way until WrestleMania.

The WWE has confirmed one match and one segment for tonight's show, but there’s a lot more to consider as well.

WRESTLING: OCT 02 AEW Dynamite/Rampage Pittsburgh
Monday Night RAW

Let’s get started.

Piper’s Pit Returns

The Hot Rod, Rowdy Roddy Piper, is one of the best men to ever pick up a microphone.

Just when you thought you had an answer, he’d change the question. His interview segment, Piper’s Pit, has created some of the most memorable moments in history.

Whether it was Piper hitting Jimmy Snuka with a coconut or Andre the Giant turning on Hulk Hogan, the rowdy one was there to make sure we were entertained.

Tonight, his infamous Piper’s Pit returns. His guest for the show will be John Cena.

I personally met Piper in October, and the man has still got it. Even with a neck brace on, he was entertaining everyone in line that was waiting for an autograph.

That was at a convention. Imagine putting Roddy Piper back into his element. Giving him a mic in front of millions of people will return to us the man who was rowdy before rowdy was cool.

What will he ask John Cena? Will The Miz get involved? I hope he does.

I would love to see Piper and Miz go back and forth on the mic.

Will Brodus Clay Finally Debut?

Week after week we are told that Brodus Clay might be returning.

As the weeks have gone by, John Laurinaitis gives us excuses as to why he hasn't.

Last week, though, we got no explanation whatsoever.

When he does finally appear, I’m not going to be interested. I was ready for him to squash someone weeks ago. Now, I could care less.

Will Brodus Clay finally debut or will Raw be rewritten so many times that he’ll get cut from the show again?

John Morrison’s Final Night: What Does WWE Have in Store For Him?

It’s been widely publicized all over the internet that tonight will be John Morrison’s final night with WWE.

Vince McMahon has never been too kind to people who are leaving his company.

Will McMahon book Morrison for a final appearance, so his fans get to see him one last time? Will he be cut from the card altogether?

If Brodus Clay really does return tonight, I have a feeling Morrison will be the one getting squashed.

Mick Foley to Host A Special Live SmackDown: Will He Appear Tonight?

The hardcore legend Mick Foley is back with WWE. He made his official return on the special "Raw gets Rocked" episode of WWE’s flagship show.

He gave us a new version of “This is Your Life” that night. The guest of honor? John Cena.

It was funny at first, but it just dragged on. Thankfully, the Rock came out and delivered a Rock Bottom on his old friend to end our suffering.

Tomorrow night is a special live episode of SmackDown. Foley has been announced as the special host of the show, but will he appear tonight to help promote it?

If so, what will come of his appearance?

CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio: WWE Championship

Last week John Laurinaitis showed everyone his “wild side” and booked Alberto Del Rio’s rematch for the WWE Championship for tonight.

Del Rio then went onto have a subpar match Zack Ryder and Punk went on to have a five-star match with Dolph Ziggler.

CM Punk certainly has the cards stacked against him tonight.

He has a general manager that doesn’t want to see him as champion, Del Rio’s lackey Ricardo Rodriguez is always ready to interfere and we could see a slew of others, such as Kevin Nash or even Brodus Clay, intervene as well.

If Nash does get involved, though, we could possibly see the return of Triple H in order to deal with Big Sexy.

This match will be either really good, or a cluster of insanity.

Who will walk out of Monday Night Raw with the WWE Championship?

Tune in tonight to see what happens!
