Mr. Kennedy's in Ring Return!
Many of you have seen Mr. Kennedy promoting his new DVD, Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia for a few weeks—mainly on SmackDown.
He has been out of WWE action for quite some time; the last time he competed was about six to seven months back.
He is going to be promoting his new DVD until its release date, Jan. 6, 2009, which would make one believe he won't see in-ring action until February.

He wants to be back soon to make sure he's involved in Wrestlemania storylines. Since he wants to be in Wrestlemania, it is a good idea to bring him back.
He is advertised to be on the SmackDown South American Tour in February, which leads to the reason many found out about his return.
He could possibly do as John Cena did and make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble—but I doubt it.
I believe Evan Bourse is supposed to make his return at the Royal Rumble, so Kennedy may spoil that.
The tour looks to be the best bet for his return, although there is no word on how much he will be involved.
Of course it will depend on his rehab and how he is holding up after his surgery. Many believe Cena's return at the Rumble was too soon and a few months later he got re-injured because he was not yet fully recovered.
The WWE does not want to see that happen to Kennedy, so they are taking his return to the ring lightly for now. Many have also speculated about Kennedy's standing with the WWE.
I've heard he could be released if he doesn't pan out as expected. Fans love him and the movie, I believe, helped him stay with the company. He was offered the part after his injury.
He looked as if he was not even going to be involved in anything with the WWE, so at least he had the movie. The Marine so far has been the most successful movie the WWE has done.
I don't think Behind Enemy Lines III will be as successful as The Marine because it's going straight to DVD, instead of being a theatrical release like The Marine. Hopefully, since Kennedy is a fan favorite his DVD will sell well.
How do you think it will sell?
Do you want to see Kennedy back sooner rather than later?
