Fantasy Football Rankings: Andre Johnson and Top WRs Who Will Struggle

Ryan RudnanskyNov 27, 2011

Andre Johnson is one of the better receivers in the NFL, if not the best.

This season, he's averaged the seventh-most fantasy points among receivers, racking up 352 yards and two touchdowns in four games.

But Johnson will struggle, as will two other top receivers.

3. Andre Johnson, Houston Texans

Johnson has been out most of the season with a hamstring injury that required surgery.

Now he gets to play with quarterback Matt Leinart, who replaces the injured Matt Schaub.

Oh, joy.

Leinart has proven throughout the years that he's not a legitimate starter in the NFL, and that's highly unlikely to change.

Plus, the Texans are facing the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to receivers this season.

2. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Green has had an impressive rookie season so far, racking up 635 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.

But Green is also coming off a knee injury and faces the Cleveland Browns in Week 12, who are giving up the least fantasy points to receivers.

Green had one 41-yard catch for a touchdown against the Browns in Week 1, but for the majority of the game he was held in check.

1. Dwyane Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs

Dwyane Bowe hasn't had the season he did in 2010, but he's still managed 750 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

But now quarterback Matt Cassel is out of action and the Chiefs have gone with Tyler Palko under center, who threw three interceptions in Week 11 against the New England Patriots.

On top of that, Bowe faces the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have given up the third-fewest fantasy points to receivers this season.

Bench Bowe.
