Move to PSG closer for David Beckham
Paris-St. Germain, who are owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, are offering an 18-month contract to Galaxy midfielder David Beckham worth $17.9 million, according to ESPN.com's Scott French.
In MLS, Beckham's compensation was $6.5 million. PSG are currently the league leaders in France's Ligue 1 and could secure their spot at the top if Beckham signs with them.
Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are also reported to have interest in Beckham. A decision is expected to be made following the Asia Pacific Tour 2011.
