Browns vs. Bengals: Spread Info, Line and Predictions

Luis BatlleNov 25, 2011

The Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals meet in Week 12 of the 2011 NFL season in a matchup that has plenty at stake for the Bengals, who hope to fight for an AFC North title.

Led by quarterback Andy Dalton, the Bengals need to pick up the slack after two straight losses. Now at 6-4, the Bengals are a game-and-a-half back of the division lead after once standing atop the division.

The Browns, on the other hand, have struggled mightily this season. The team is a mediocre 4-6 on the year, with wins against Indianapolis, Miami, Seattle and, most recently, Jacksonville. All four are teams with losing records who are easily four of the worst five teams in the league.

When

Sunday, November 22nd, 2011 @ 1:00 PM EST

Where to Watch

CBS

Spread

Cincinnati 6.5-point favorites at home

Fantasy Studs for both teams:

Bengals: Cedric Benson

Fully expect Cedric Benson to have a top-notch performance against the No. 29 rushing defense in the NFL. Andy Dalton has has a tremendous season for the team, but they go up against the league's best pass defense on Sunday. If any week will be a breakout week for the veteran back, count on this one.

Browns: Chris Ogbonnaya

With quarterback Colt McCoy injured and likely too hurt to go this week, Ogbonnaya is a guy who will put up points for fantasy teams. Last week, Ogbonnaya exploded onto the scene, running for 115 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries against the Jaguars.

Prediction:

Fully expect the Bengals to walk all over the Browns at home in a division game the team must win in order to stay alive in the division race. If this game were in Cleveland, it would be a slightly different story, but a game in Cincinnati should spell victory for the Bengals without question.
