Why Some People Hate Jeff Hardy Winning The WWE Title, If It Is Possible
For a while now, guys like myself and other B/R writers have been pushing for a Jeff Hardy World Title run. And we finally got it last week at WWE's last PPV of the year, Armageddon.
And like many I rejoiced, I loved the fact that the once screw up Jeff Hardy won the World Title gold. It was inspiring and the fans seemed to love it too. But I came across terrible blogs by people.
One caught my eye in particular, he was a former WWE creative team member. Heavy on the former. He said that documented back yard wrestlers like the Hardys don't deserve to hold the World Title because the WWE talks about not trying things like this at home.

Jeff and Matt both talk about the stuff they did on their dad's ladders and their trapoline a lot. He went onto say that it was stupid to put the title on Hardy because he was on the strike out rule.
The man said that Hardy could get one more strike and be out of the company forever and he wonders why the WWE would give him the opportunity to be the face of the company.
He continues to say that Jake Roberts who was incredibly over never got a World Title reign and that was because of him being like Jeff Hardy, a person who the WWE could not reilly on to stay right.
I personally hated the man's comments but knew where he was coming from. I mean it is true that Jeff is popular and people love him. The WWE gave him the title because if they didn't it would be kind of a bad thing for business.
Hardy's WWE merchandise sells very well and is one of the top selling in the WWE behind DX and John Cena's. That is pretty good company to me. And he continues to bring the crowd in too.
He is a good wrestler and I think he deserved it. But do you agree with the former creative team member or not?
Was this good or bad business for the WWE?
