Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Starting Lineup Prediction

Joe Hart: Ever-present in Manchester City's league campaign.  Forced into action at numerous points inside the Stadio San Paolo, England's No. 1 responded with a series of fine saves.

Micah Richards: An unused substitute in Naples, the flying fullback will be raring to go at Anfield.  Fresh from a Man of the Match performance, including a goal and an assist versus Newcastle United in the last round of Premier League fixtures.

Vincent Kompany: The club skipper is a certainty to start in league fixtures when fit and available for selection.

Joleon Lescott: With Kolo Toure and Stefan Savic likely to start in Tuesday's upcoming Carling Cup tie with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Lescott will continue his impressive partnership with the Belgian Kompany.

Gael Clichy: Roberto Mancini has elected to rotate both fullbacks so far this season.  Aleksandar Kolarov suffered a tough test against the pace and movement of Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik in Naples, but he will have to wait to return to action after Clichy returns this weekend.

Gareth Barry: Scorer (controversially) of England's 2,000th goal Wembley versus Sweden last week, the former Aston Villa midfielder has started the last two games on the bench.  He will provide fresh legs in a tough away fixture.

Yaya Toure: One of the better performers in Naples, Toure's versatility to switch between defence and attack makes him more likely to start than the purely destructive Nigel de Jong.

James Milner: Quickly becoming one of the most important cogs in the Manchester City engine room, his tirelessly energetic workrate will be vital to any hopes of leaving Merseyside with three points.

David Silva: Early front-runner for Player of the Season, the Spanish playmaker will continually seek out the space between the Lucas-marshalled midfield and Liverpool's impressive defence.

Samir Nasri: It would not be surprising to see City boss Roberto Mancini pack the midfield this Sunday afternoon.  Six league assists for the Frenchman makes him an ideal playmaker to include.

Sergio Aguero: A late substitute midweek in the Champions League, the Argentine's pace and movement make him a perfect recipient for the intricate passing triangles of Silva and Nasri.
