WWE TLC 2011: Predicting the Top 5 Matches for the Show
WWE Survivor Series is officially in the books, and it is time to move on. I enjoyed the show, but time must continue. With every PPV, it is always on to the next show a month later.
With that being said, there are currently no matches officially announced for the WWE TLC show in December. I am not a fan of "fantasy booking," but I am going to pick a few matches WWE may want to focus on...
Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder
1 of 5Of course, the United States Championship should be on the line here. I would assume WWE would add a ladder match stipulation to it, as the PPV has a gimmick theme.
It is time for Zack Ryder to get his US title match. It is also time for Ziggler to move up the card. The best place for all of this to come to a head is on PPV. No better place than TLC...
The Miz vs. John Cena
2 of 5It may be time for these two to go at it again. Trust me, I am not talking about another long, extended feud. That is not an option here.
However, build this up for a few weeks! Get one match out of them at WWE TLC and move on. That is all I see happening. I suppose I could add these two men to the WWE title picture for the PPV show, but I do not want to make the main event a big mess.
I prefer one-on-one feuds...
CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio
3 of 5This match would be for the WWE title. A tables match would be a nice stipulation, if there was one added at all.
Again, I could add The Miz, Cena or both to this match, but I really prefer one-on-one feuds. It just makes things easier and much more entertaining.
There is no doubt Punk retains, but Del Rio is more than a quality opponent.
Mark Henry vs. Big Show
4 of 5What a World Heavyweight Championship match this will be!
Surely, these two need a blowoff to their feud. What better way than a "Chairs" match at TLC? It sure makes sense to me, based on the end of their Survivor Series battle. Again, the winner is not in any doubt, but it would finally add some closure to this story.
Triple H vs. Kevin Nash
5 of 5I suppose this feud could drag itself to the Royal Rumble (or later), but I want it to happen next month. Let's see what Kevin Nash can do, and let's see Triple H back in the ring again.
WWE could see how both men are before the "Road to Wrestle Mania" begins in 2012, and all plans could be set from there. I, for one, am very interested in seeing how these two legends do in December 2011. Why not at WWE TLC?
I am now on Twitter @JustinWatry, so do not be shy and follow me! Thank you.
