Packers vs. Lions: Lions Will Find out Why Packers Are NFL's Best
The Detroit Lions will be hungry, thrilling and altogether hard-hitting on Thursday, but that will hardly save them from the loss they are about to suffer.
The Lions need this game far more than the Packers do. This is an actual reason that some are using to give the Lions the upper hand going into this magical game on Turkey Day.
The Lions may have a pass rush to end all quarterbacks, but they are not facing just any quarterback—and that is going to be the difference on Thanksgiving.

Pass Rush, Smash Mrush
First, let's talk about the Lions' defense that has most hurlers on the run, and those that can't run, on the turf. The Lions' pass rush is something to be accounted for, as they will be gunning to kill Rodgers—or at the very least, maim him a little.
Rodgers is not the same quarterback that we saw this time last year. This quarterback was great then, but he is something altogether different this year.
He can get out of the pocket with the best of them, and his quick release will have the Lions coming up just short from really putting the hurt on. Rodgers will stay upright most of the game, and that will be a problem for Detroit.
Who Cares Who Wants It More?
The Lions are on the precipice of disaster and playoffs. Where they fall will be determined in how they fare in the next couple weeks. The Packers can virtually cakewalk into the postseason.
This is the NFL, people. Remember that the instant you give up, you get injured and are dealt a blow in the loss column. The only safe bet is to go out with your best effort each and every week.
A team like the Packers knows full well that you need to go big or go home every game.
The Lions want it more? BS. The Packers want this game just as much. If not, the best quarterback in the game, Aaron Rodgers, will bail them out.
Game. Set. Match for the Packers.
