Juventus have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund's Mario Götze—but so have half the clubs in Europe.
Götze isn't the only player Juventus have tracked, though. If you're willing to dig a little deeper, you'll find a bunch of skilled players who could be on their way to Turin—or across town—in January.
Let's get right to the list.
1. Josep Ilicic, Palermo
Josep Ilicic, a 23-year-old Slovenian international midfielder, has been linked with a move away from Palermo.
According to SkySports, Juventus, Fiorentina, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested.
Palermo's chairman is saying Ilicic won't be going anywhere in January.
We'll see.
2. Mats Hummels, Borussia Dortmund
Mats Hummels is a 22-year-old German international center-back. He's also a teammate of Götze's at Borussia Dortmund.
According to Goal.com, he's a Juventus target, too.
Italian sources claim Hummels would cost something around €15 million.
3. Angelo Ogbonna, Torino
4. Dennis Aogo, Hamburg
Juventus have reportedly planned a €7 million move for Hamburg defender Dennis Aogo.
Aogo's agent says Aogo, a German, wants to stay in Germany.
Imagine that.
5. Manolo Gabbiadini, Atalanta
Atalanta teenager Manolo Gabbiadini is attracting the attention of Juventus, according to TribalFootball and Goal.com.
Gabbiadini scored a hat trick in Italy U-21's 7-2 demolition of Liechtenstein.
6. Aurelien Chedjou, Lille
7. Leandro Damião, Internacional
Leandro Damião is a 22-year-old Brazilian striker who did this recently against Argentina.
Juventus reportedly have made a €20 million bid. Internacional apparently want €30 million.
