Week 12 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Tim Tebow and 5 Quarterbacks You Must Sit
The playoffs are upon us.
It is vital that you start the right guys this week. There is no room left for excuses. At this point in the season, we have dealt with injuries. We have battled through our bye weeks. We have left points on the table. The best advice that I can tell you is: Trust your gut.
Today I will tell you which QB's to sit this week.
To the slides we go.
Tim Tebow
1 of 5I don't believe he will make a very good quarterback in the NFL.
He is facing the Chargers this week who are ranked eighth in pass defense. They are also ranked 23rd in run defense. I know it sounds like you should start Tebow, but if Denver does have to play from behind then Tebow is forced to become a drop back, pocket passer. That will be bad news for Denver and Tebow.
Sit Tim Tebow.
Carson Palmer
2 of 5He is facing the Bears defense who are really good.
It is also important to mention that they are playing with extra motivation due to the season ending injury of Jay Cutler.
Sit Carson Palmer.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
3 of 5Ever since Fitzpatrick got his contract extension, he has been horrible for the team.
He's in a slump and an angry Jets defense is waiting for him on Sunday afternoon. Facing the Jets while in a slump is bad news. The Jets will show no mercy.
Sit Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Matt Leinart
4 of 5Remember this guy?
It's ok if you don't. I hope he has learned a lot on the bench. You don't know unless you try, right?
Stay away from him. At all costs.
Rex Grossman
5 of 5The resurrection of Rex Grossman continues!
The problem is Grossman does not have anyone to throw too. Jabar Gaffney? Fred Davis? Those are good options...
Sit Rex Grossman.
