WWE Survivor Series 2011: Return of Kane with Mask Is Long Overdue
While many believe that Kane is nothing more than a big man that the WWE uses to get other wrestlers over, he is so much more than that.
Now Kane may be returning to his roots of wearing his mask.
For those old enough to remember when Kane came into the WWE with the mask on, it was one of those characters that worked so well with anyone he competed against.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Whether it is the feud with Undertaker that was one of the best in WWE history or teaming up with Undertaker to form the Brothers of Destruction, Kane was a huge star for a long time.
It’s true that the WWE used Kane to get other stars over, but that’s how the wrestling business works. Some wrestlers like John Cena will not get stars over because the WWE doesn’t like letting him lose, but wrestlers like Kane don’t mind losing to put over another star.
It’s not just Kane’s ability to put others over that makes him so special. It’s the fact that this 7’0”-tall monster is one of the most athletic of all the big men WWE ever had.
Kane has been involved in every match under the sun and hasn’t performed like he was out of place in any of them.
Remember Kane in the Money in the Bank matches? He performed better than any 7’0” I could have imagined would have performed.
He is returning from an injury sustained at the hands of Mark Henry, and this time he will be a heel and possibly returning to his mask, according to the promo.
Kane lost the mask in 2003 in a feud with Triple H, and it’s about time the big red machine put the mask back on.
Not only will the mask hearken back a time of classic WWE, it will provide with the clear strong heel the company desperately needs. With The Rock gone for a while and SmackDown's heels not looking strong, Kane’s return couldn’t have come at a better time.
My hope is that Kane returns to SmackDown though, and feuds with his returning brother Undertaker going into WrestleMania.
It’s alright to rehash an old idea if it was one of the most evil feuds in the history of the wrestling business.
