5 Reasons the Heat Will Win the Next NBA Championship

If there is a season, the Heat will win the NBA championship. It is impossible to deny a team this talented up top with South Beach, Pat Riley and megastars to help recruit veteran role players.

There are five key reasons why next season will be the Heat’s year.

LBJ has been working with Hakeem on his post moves. LeBron with a post game is like the Incredible Hulk with Bruce Banner’s mind. It would make him the perfect weapon, as well as balance the team and allow him to score and create from a different spot on the floor. There isn’t enough room on the perimeter for him and Wade. Plus, LeBron will be deadly on the block.

Who should be the man? LeBron should be. With James in the post, the ball can and should run through him. But this gives Wade the freedom to roam and create from the perimeter. It also creates yet another passing lane for shooters.

Chris Bosh earned respect in the postseason. While he spent much of the year being treated like the fifth Beatle, Bosh found his offense on the block as well as with the 15- to 17-footer. Bosh should have gotten the ball more in the Finals; had he, the Heat possibly win it all last season. Wade and LBJ will look for Bosh more next season, especially in the playoffs.

The Heat need to add depth and youth. D-Wade had plenty to do with organizing the union of the Big Three. He will have to use his recruitment powers this offseason to get the affordable yet valuable pieces the Heat need for depth. Wade is a charismatic and well-liked star. He, Pat Riley and South Beach will get it done. Only Flash could have gotten Haslem to return for less money.

The ridiculous, nationwide hate has brought these guys close, and last year’s experience has taught them how to play together. I think even they underestimated the backlash the Big Three would receive—now they are ready for an onslaught. The Heat will stick it to the haters.
