WWE: Watch Roddy Piper Host "Piper's Pit" in Funnyordie.com Skit
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper is one of the best talkers in wrestling history, and his famous talk show segment “Piper’s Pit” set the table for future talk shows just like it.
Without “Piper’s Pit,” we probably never would have seen Chris Jericho’s “The Highlight Reel” or Edge’s “The Cutting Edge.” Piper was truly a revolutionary performer, and his talk show was one of the reasons why he’s well respected in the business, even among wrestling fans who were born after he was in his prime.
Most recently, Piper conducted a quite entertaining “Piper’s Pit” segment for a website dedicated to anything and everything hilarious, Funnyordie.com.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
In the video, Piper mistakenly thinks he is interviewing a couple of contestants from the hit reality show Big Brother, but much to his surprise, he finds out he’s actually speaking with an older man (Bob) and a child from the Big Brothers mentorship organization.
In true Piper fashion, Piper goes completely off topic and begins to rant about how his brother used to force Piper to watch him “have love,” which I guess is Piper’s way of saying “have sex.” Then, of course Piper switches gears and starts rambling about how he had to stab wolves to get to school when living in Canada.
Huh? What? Haha.
But just wait. All of Piper’s rambling was about to pay off in a big way when he tied all the loose ends together in a way that I didn’t see coming.
It was at this point that Piper asked the young child, whose name was Zachary, what he was good at, to which Zachary replied, “I don’t know.” Somehow, that resulted in Piper revealing that Bob was actually “Chester the Molester.”
Piper then tosses Bob—or is it Chester?—through the “Piper’s Pit segment” before calling out his Wrestlemania II opponent, Mr. T. Apparently, Piper can identify a pedophile and then immediately whoop his a**.
Piper was absolutely fantastic in this segment, and he made me wish that we could replace Dr. Phil with daily episodes of “Piper’s Pit” or perhaps have Piper fill in for Chris Hansen on To Catch a Predator.
I mean, how epic would that be? The guy is pure gold whenever he’s got a microphone and a forum for all of his wackiness.
