WWE 12 Roster: Added Superstars Push THQ Masterpeice into Must-Own Status

When you come home from the store with your brand-new WWE '12 on Tuesday, you will be coming back with more than a modern game filled with current superstars. You have the opportunity to relive the glorious past of a few legends as well. 

Ahhhh, the ever-frustrating downloadable content. Normally I am good and pissed about video game companies creating a game heavy on DLC add-ons. When that happens, you know you are getting half a game, but that is far from the case here. 

THQ has delivered one of the most action-packed sports games period. When you have as many current stars flooding the game, any amount of DLC is pure icing on the virtual world cake, as these things always should be. 

In time, you will get wrestling entertainers such as Brock Lesnar, Jim Ross and Michael Cole. What many fans will be clamoring for are the avatars that represent some of the best that have ever performed in the WWE world—Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Macho Man Randy Savage.

Macho Man

My childhood will be flooding back as the download starts for Macho Man. The former superstar was the epitome of a legend. The icon was a master of emotion and hyperbole. When he spoke, you became as amped as he was.

This game promises to have a great deal of energy infused into the introductions and atmosphere. That means we get a heaping dose of Macho Man as he should be enjoyed. Ohhhh yeah. 

Shawn Michaels

One of the greatest wrestlers. That is really all you can say about the three-time WWF champion and winner of two Royal Rumbles. 

When you decide to use Shawn Michaels, you better come with it because that is exactly what he did each and every time he stepped into the ring. 

Mick Foley

Crazy, nuts or just plain silly. Whatever you want to call Mick Foley or any of his multiple personalities, you have to make sure to include influential. 

Foley has shaped the WWE for the better and will continue to do so until he leaves for good. The Madman is at least back full-time as my first and last character I will choose to use in WWE '12.
