The Definition Of Insanity
Insane Yankees
If anyone is familiar with Albert Einstein, he said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
This is what the Yankees have been doing since 2001. They buy expensive free agents every year and expect to win. They haven’t won. The lesson is stop buying free agents

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
This year will be another year possibly without a world series title and guess what they will do the next offseason? Can you guess? They’ll buy more free agents.
Can you guess what will happen the year after that? More free agents and possibly no world series titles.
Are the Yankees being run by a bunch of bozos or geniuses?
If you’re the owner and you want to make money, you buy free agents to attract fans to the ball park. If you want to win world series titles, spending it on free agents is not the answer in my view.
I’ve went over a lot of this in my last article so I’d like to talk about something else. I’d like to point out how much trouble I feel the Yankees’ hitting is. I feel the Yankees are in bigger trouble than they know.
I was going over the Yankee lineup for this year and I started to worry.
Posada is very old for a catcher. I don’t see a good year from him. His time is probably up.
If Nick Swisher is the first baseman, I expect nothing good from him.
Robinson Cano is very lazy. Does he care about playing baseball? The errors he made last year were terrible and some how he turned into a .271 hitter.
Alex Rodriguez is a great hitter, when the game is not on the line. He’ll never get a big hit against the Red Sox and he always chokes in the playoffs. The only reason to have him on the team is so the Yankees will have it easier to beat up on the bad teams.
Derek Jeter has played a lot of baseball. Derek Jeter also doesn’t take steroids so when will his career begin to take a slide? Will it be this year? Will his fielding get worse?
Right fielder Xavier Nady is going to have a solid year and he’s only 30.
Who’s the center fielder?
Left Fielder Johnny Damon should have a good year but this will be his 15th year in the major leagues. An old veteran.
DH Hideki Matsui. Another old veteran. Will he stay healthy? He’s played a lot of baseball in Japan and with the Yankees combined. Will he stop making ridiculous throws from the outfield?
Old veterans usual get hurt during the season and looking at the Yankees’ hitting roster, they have a lot of veterans on their team. If a lot of them go down like their pitching did last year, the Yankee season will be in trouble again.
If this offense has perfect health, I don’t see a lot of runs scored from them anyway. None of these batters scare anyone from the opposing team.
