WWE Survivor Series 2011 Matches: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison Will Be Epic

T.J. McaloonNov 20, 2011

Everyone is looking towards a number of things at this year’s Survivor Series. However, what everyone is overlooking is the United States Title match between the champion Dolph Ziggler and the challenger John Morrison.

These two young superstars have been put together in a match that came really out of nowhere.

Sure, both of these guys did play a role in each other’s story lines. Recently Morrison has played a part in Ziggler’s feud with Mason Ryan. However, Ryan is busy in an elimination match with Ziggler, whereas Morrison is doing nothing at the pay-per-view.

Now stop before you tell me that Zack Ryder is going to force his way into this US Title match. Until we see something different from WWE, this is the title match that we are going to get.

No matter what Ryder is petitioning for on his Twitter page or on his You Tube show, it hasn’t gotten him anything. For now we have a classic singles match between two superstars that are going to go out and tear the roof off of Madison Square Garden.

Both of these guys are your classic mid-card great workers that is the glue that holds the WWE together. They will bust their tails for a 10-15 minute match with a lot of near falls and crisp moves.

What we are going to see is Ziggler and Morrison opening this Survivor Series event with a high-paced, wall-to-wall action contest that sees Ziggler retaining his US Championship.

Maybe Ryder factors into the decision as he interferes on behalf of Morrison but ends up being the reason why he loses in the end.

The three of these mid-card guys can put on great matches with each other and feud over this US Title for the next stretch of pay-per-views.

However, for tonight you are going to see Ziggler and Morrison as two guys who start off what will be one of the best WWE events in some time.
