NFL Week 11 Predictions: Projections for Calvin Johnson and All Top WRs

With the exception of teams that have Darrelle Revis on their roster, trying to cover Calvin Johnson with one man is just asking for trouble. Heck, he even beats defenses that assign three guys to him sometimes. 

However, the Lions have struggled a bit on offense, as their inability to run the ball has exposed Matt Stafford as of late. 

Still, going against an average Carolina defense, Calvin should get plenty of targets and put up Johnson-like numbers, and he is still their top target in the red zone. 

Here are some other projections for this week's top receivers. 

Larry Fitzgerald

Going against one of football's best defenses, you would think that John Skelton is going to have a tough time getting Larry Fitzgerald the ball. The Cardinals have one of football's worst offensive lines, and the 49ers might have one of the best front sevens in the league.

However, Fitz always seems to find a way to put up numbers, no matter what his situation may be. Plus, Skelton may actually be an upgrade over Kevin Kolb, even though the Cardinals will never admit to as much.  

Greg Jennings

Don't expect any kind of drop-off in Greg Jennings' production. He faces a very average Tampa defense, and he and Rodgers should shred them all day. 

Even if Jennings draws coverage from Aquib Talib, Talib is quietly having an awful season. Greg should have his way with him. 

Dez Bryant

Dez is finally healthy again, and the production of the Cowboys offense reflects that. Romo is playing well, and the Redskins defense is tailing off after a strong start. Look for Bryant to get the best of DeAngelo Hall and Josh Wilson. 

Wes Welker

Surprisingly enough, Wes Welker may not have a Welker-like day on Monday Night. If he draws coverage from Brandon Flowers, he could have a tough time getting open. Flowers, after a rough start, is playing much better as the season goes on. 

Of course, if he doesn't draw coverage from Flowers, he could have a monster day.
