NFL Week 11 Picks: Blowout Watch for Sunday's Ugliest Games

Ryan AlfieriNov 20, 2011

Well, whenever the Packers are playing, there is a "blowout watch" by default.

However, there are several games this week that have a chance to get really out of hand, and a lot of them are matchups you would not necessarily expect to yield lopsided results.

Let's take a look at some games this Sunday that could end up getting very ugly on the scoreboard.

Green Bay Packers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1 of 4

As I stated earlier, whenever the Packers take the field, there is always a good chance for a blowout. They have yet to play a game as close as their victory over the Saints in Week 1.

Going against a very average Tampa defense, Rodgers will make it look easy once again in a smooth victory. Add in the struggles of the Bucs offense this season and this one could get ugly quickly.

New England Patriots over Kansas City Chiefs

2 of 4

After an impressive win over the Jets on Sunday night, the Patriots seem to have found their groove again.

Unless Tyler Palko can do something against the Patriots defense to keep this game close, I expect the Pats to roll to a big win in Kansas City on Monday night.

Chicago Bears over San Diego Chargers

3 of 4

When you just take a glance at this matchup, this looks like it could wind up being a good game.

However, the Chargers will be without their two best offensive linemen, and the Bears are playing as well as they could possibly play as of late. If they can get Forte going on the ground and put up points early, the Bears will feast on the Chargers line.

This could be quite a scary game regarding the health of Philip Rivers

Dallas Cowboys over Washington Redskins

Don't expect this game to be like their first matchup in Dallas. Romo is finally healthy after suffering a brutal lung injury in Week 2 and their offense is clicking on all cylinders.

Rob Ryan's defense should have no problem with Rex Grossman and this incredibly inept offense. Look for the Cowboys to destroy the Redskins this week.
