John Cena WWE: Survivor Series 2011 Is Perfect Time for Heel Turn
The one thing that can make this Survivor Series pay-per-view the most memorable event that the WWE has ever put on is having their biggest good-guy star turn bad. Having John Cena turn on The Rock will make this event rank as the best pay-per-view match ever.
John Cena has been one of the most polarizing superstars in the history of the WWE. Not since the 1980s with Hulk Hogan, have we seen someone pushed as hard as a baby face.
When Hogan turned heel at the WCW pay-per-view Bash at the Beach, it sent the wrestling business into another level. It gave a fresh perspective to Hogan’s character and made his eventual face turn again great.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The rumblings of a Cena heel turn have been just that rumblings. It’s something that we in the Internet wrestling community have been predicting since 2007. We keep on thinking that the WWE is going to turn him heel. But, what we get is more good-guy Cena.
What was holding Cena back from turning heel in the past is that he hasn’t had a huge baby face to turn against. Cena has played the heel in the previous matches like against Rob Van Damn in 2008s One Night Stand and 2011s Money in the Bank vs. CM Punk.
However, he was the heel only because of circumstance. Once those events ended and the WWE went to the next arena, Cena was cheered like the hero he is to so many people.
Now that Cena is with such a popular superstar in The Rock, the time is right to pull the trigger on this heel turn. If and when Cena crosses The Rock tonight, it will set the wrestling world on fire.
Let’s say Cena crosses The Rock tonight giving the win to the opposing team of The Miz and R-Truth.
However, it’s not just one thing for Cena to cross The Rock tonight. If that was the case it would leave Cena as the baby face ready to take on another bad guy for the WWE Title.
If the WWE is going to go 100 percent in a Cena heel turn they need to have him relentlessly beat on The Rock post-match. The final scene in tonight’s pay-per-view, to get Cena all the way over as a heel, has to be of Cena leaving The Rock laying unconscious in the middle of the ring.
The WWE has the potential tonight for one of the biggest moments in the history of the business. Let’s see if the WWE will finally pull the trigger on this.
