UFC 139 Predictions: Why Wanderlei Silva Doesn't Stand a Chance Against Cung Le

When Cung Le and Wanderlei Silva fight tonight, Le will knock out the washed-up Silva. While Silva is certainly a fan favorite and a likeable guy, he's about to get slaughtered tonight.

If a fighter had gone 2-6 with four knockout losses in his last eight fights, do you think he'd still be around? Of course not that's ridiculous.

Oh wait, nevermind, that's exactly what's happened to Silva.

Silva has been doing absolutely horrible in his recent fights, and that pattern won't be broken tonight. While Le isn't the best fighter in the world, he is certainly very good and good enough to knock Silva out.

Le is a very tactical fighter whose kicks are among the strongest in UFC. 

We have seen him break bones in 2007 when he shattered Frank Shamrock's arm in their fight.  Le's kicks will be the method of victory tonight, as one good kick to the head will leave Silva unconscious.

Silva has had some trouble with kicks before. 

Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic kicked him in the head, and that looked pretty bad. If Le gets an open shot at a kick in the head, we may just see the end of Silva's career.

Le is going to win this fight handily, he just has to wait for an opening and land a solid kick. If he can do that, this fight will be over very quickly.

I'm predicting Le to knock Silva out, giving him a ridiculous five knockout losses in nine fights.  Silva's career is just about over, and if it were anyone else, it would have ended a while ago.
