Week 11 Fantasy Football Projections: Aaron Rodgers and Other Elite Producers

Andrew KulhaNov 20, 2011

Aaron Rodgers is hands-down the best fantasy option in the NFL, but he's not the only stud player who should produce some major numbers in Week 11 of the 2011 NFL season.

It's hard to deny that there isn't anyone even near Rodgers' level of production this year—both on the field and in fantasy.

He has an unbelievable 215-of-295 for 2,869 yards with 28 touchdowns and only three interceptions.

Those are incredible numbers, and there is reason to believe that he will at least double the yardage and touchdowns by season's end.

There's no stopping Rodgers right now, but like I said, he's not the only big-time projection for Week 11.

Aaron Rodgers, QB Green Bay Packers

I could keep waxing poetically about Rodgers, or just tell you about his matchup. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the task of stopping a Packers offense that is averaging 410 yards per game—306.9 of that comes from Rodgers and the passing game.

The Buccaneers, in comparison, are giving up 263 yards per game, but that's a number I expect to go up significantly after this week.

Rodgers is at home and has Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jermichael Finley and Randall Cobb at his disposal.

The Buccaneers don't stand a chance.

Adrian Peterson, RB Minnesota Vikings

Right now Peterson is the best option that the Vikings have to score (the best option not named Ryan Longwell, who is their kicker, mind you).

Oakland is really struggling at stopping the run, and that they have 132.4 average yards given up on the ground goes a long way toward proving that point.

Simply put: If the Vikings don't give Peterson the ball 30 times in this game, they aren't going to win it. I think they know that.

They'll have home-field advantage, and Peterson will be looking to vindicate himself from a horrible outing against the Packers. During that game, he carried the ball 14 times for 51 yards and never scored.

Brandon Marshall, WR Miami Dolphins

Somehow, the Dolphins are on a two-game winning streak, and they are looking fairly decent.

Marshall only has two touchdowns on the season, but a lot of that can be attributed to inconsistent quarterback play.

In the past two wins, he's racked up 15 catches for 204 yards and a touchdown.

If the Dolphins stay hot, and Matt Moore can get him the ball, I expect him to have a big game against a Buffalo Bills defense. The Bills have been giving up an average of 261.4 yards per game.
