NFL Picks Week 11: Teams Guaranteed to Cover the Spread

Josh SchochNov 19, 2011

Week 11 of the NFL season is here, and with it come more opportunities to make easy money betting on teams to cover the spread.  These five games are begging you to win some money off them.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are favored by four over the San Diego Chargers at home.  The Bears have won four straight games, improving to 6-3, and will son be 7-3.

The Bears are going to be able to stifle the run against the Chargers, which is the way to beat them.  Quarterback Phillip Rivers has been struggling, and when forced to throw, he has thrown a lot of interceptions, giving opponents great field position.

The Bears are more than capable of coming up with three or four picks in this game.  Then they will run the ball effectively as San Diego is awful against the run, and Matt Forte is one of the best backs in the league.

The Bears cover easily.

New England Patriots

The Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.  The spread is 15 points, which is sad because that is still not high enough.

The Pats have arguably the best pass attack in the NFL, and the Chiefs are among the worst teams against the pass.

Tom Brady is going to have a field day on Monday night when his Pats crush a Chiefs team that looks just as bad as they did in the first few weeks of the season.

Green Bay Packers

The best team in the NFL is favored by 15 points over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lambeau Field.  The Bucs have been awful on defense.

Tampa Bay has lost three straight games, and four of five, including an embarrassing 48-3 loss against the San Francisco 49ers on the road.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are going to put up similar numbers against the Buccaneers, as the best offense in the NFL takes on arguably the worst defense.

The Packers will move to 10-0 and cover with ease.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders don't have to do much besides win as the spread is one point in their favor.  Their running attack, headed by Michael Bush, will be good enough to run well against the Vikings, despite not having Darren McFadden.

The Raiders aren't going to run away with this game because of Minnesota's rushing attack, but they will surely win by more than one point.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are an impressive 8-1 this season with the best run defense in the league.  This week they host the Arizona Cardinals, who will be forced to rely on John Skelton to throw the ball effectively to even come close.

Favored by 10 points, the 49ers have an excellent chance of shutting the Cards out in this game.

While Arizona shocked the world by beating the Eagles last week, they will not be able to upset the 49ers, or even come close, for that matter.

The 49ers will definitely cover in this one, improving to 9-1.
