UFC 139 Fight Card: 4 Things We Will NOT See Tonight

UFC 139 is swiftly approaching and, as with any cards, there are certain expectations.

Some people are expecting Dan Henderson to be knocked out for the very first time, others are expecting to see a stand-up "war" between Wanderlei Silva and Cung Le.

However, while these are things we may see, there are things that we definitely will NOT see happen on the UFC 139 fight card.

Chris Weidman Be Denied a Takedown

Chris Weidman is a two-time NCAA Division-I All-American and a veteran of the prestigious ADCC submission grappling tournament.

Weidman's UFC 139 opponent, Tom Lawlor, has no such credentials.

While it can't be guaranteed that Weidman will win it can be guaranteed that Weidman will definitely manage to get Lawlor to the ground at some point. If Lawler doesn't have a plan there, he'll lose.

The Loser of Jason Brilz vs. Ryan Bader Keep Their Job

Unless you're special, three losses in a row is usually the limit. After that, the UFC sends you packing back to the regional circuit (or maybe Bellator).

Both Jason Brilz and the once highly-touted Ryan Bader are on two-fight losing streaks. They meet in the televised preliminary bouts in a fight that's sure to be a "loser leaves town match."

Whoever wins, the other fighter will likely be given his walking papers.

A Question Mark Still Remain About Urijah Faber

Recently, there has been talk about whether or not former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber is overrated or not.

After his bout with Brian Bowles at UFC 139, the question mark will be forever removed. Either Faber loses and will be forever known as an overrated fighter who was a big fish in a small pond during the early days of the lighter weight classes, or he'll beat Bowles and his reputation will be restored.
