WWE Survivor Series 2011: Kevin Nash Will Decide WWE Championship Match
With Triple H still on the shelf thanks to an attack by the newly-signed Kevin Nash, there isn’t currently anything for Nash to do. He made on appearance on RAW and powerbombed Santino Marella, but you have to think that something big is being planned for him.
Nash isn’t currently on the SurvivorSeries card, but there is reason to believe that he will have some type of involvement. Based on the time frame given for Triple H’s return, he won’t be back in time for Sunday’s event, so Nash’s appearance won’t be on account of him.

With that said, the only logical place for Nash would be if he were to get involved in the WWE Championship match between titleholder Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk. Just think back to Nash’s involvement over the past several months, and it makes sense.
Nash’s debut came after Punk’s win at SummerSlam as he powerbombed Punk after the match and allowed Del Rio to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. I certainly don’t think it is any coincidence that the same two superstars will be wrestling on Sunday.
In some way, I believe that it will eventually come out that Nash, Del Rio and Laurinaitis have been in cahoots all along. Laurinaitis has long taken issue with Punk, as has Nash. It is also obvious that Laurinaitis and Nash are connected, as Laurinaitis looked to be texting Nash at Night of Champions before he came out to interfere in the Punk/Triple H match.
All of these instances are far too intertwined in order to be a coincidence. Because of that, I think that it is abundantly clear that Nash will somehow interfere on behalf of Del Rio. The chances are slim to none that Punk will lose cleanly to Del Rio, so it makes perfect sense.
I don’t think Nash’s connection to Laurinaitis will be made public until a little further down the line, but screwing over Punk on Sunday will eventually be revealed as a direct order from Laurinaitis. This, in effect, will begin the formation of a Corporation-style heel stable.
Laurinaitis will be the leader as Vince McMahon once was, with Del Rio and Nash doing most of his leg work. I could also see Christian and perhaps a few others joining the fray over time.
It is also possible that Nash will interject himself into the WWE Championship match, but Triple H will make a surprise return and stop him, leading to a Punk title win. Ultimately, I believe Nash costing Punk will be more of a high-impact move, though, so that is what I expect to see on Sunday.
