WWE Survivor Series 2011: The Rock Will Turn Heel on John Cena
If we learned one thing from the Raw that got rocked besides the fact that WWE creative is a joke, it’s that John Cena will be the victim of a heel-type turn from The Rock.
The WWE has set it up perfectly.
To understand my point, you have to understand the WWE’s fascination with John Cena.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Vince McMahon and the people who make the decisions in the company see John Cena as the modern-day Rock, but unlike The Rock, they don’t feel he should turn heel because of his primary fan base.
Kids.
While it’s totally feasible that with Cena so goofy on the mic that he could be an all-time great heel, we will not see that from him.
At least not yet.
Don’t forget Cena is all about hustle, loyalty and respect, and those words have a whole generation by the ear. The WWE needs that.
The Rock, on the other hand, is going to get an enormous pop both because he is a WWE legend and he is talking trash on John Cena.
No matter what The Rock does at Survivor Series, heel turn or not, the fans are going to give him a huge response.
Now imagine that response after laying the Rock Bottom on Cena and allowing Awesome Truth to walk away victorious.
That move would be the clear line in the sand for fans to start choosing their sides.
Whose side are you on?
