WWE Survivor Series 2011: Kevin Nash Must Make His Presence Felt

For better or worse, Kevin Nash is back in WWE. The oft-injured star made his return at SummerSlam and has been a non-factor since that time. He can change all that by getting involved in the CM Punk-Alberto Del Rio match at Survivor Series. 

Remember when Nash made his comeback? He attacked Punk at SummerSlam to help Del Rio—who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase—win the WWE championship for the first time.

That sneak attack was supposed to lead to a match between Nash and Punk at Night of Champions, but health concerns forced Nash off that show. Now, just two months later, we have a little bit of history repeating. 

With Triple H likely out until at least December, if not longer, Nash will need something to do until he comes back. He can finally put an end to the feud that originally brought him back to the company that we never got any kind of resolution to. 

I know that the very idea of WWE following through on a storyline that it started three days ago is laughable, much less one that was started three months ago, but Punk does not need the championship right now and another loss isn't going to hurt him. He has lost virtually every match on television for the last three months and is still over with the crowd. 

Del Rio, on the other hand, needs all the help he can get as champion. Since WWE doesn't waste an opportunity to make him look like a dork, why not have Nash help him to another victory?

Nash is going to get involved in some match on the show, and the bout between Punk and Del Rio is the only one that makes any semblance of sense, so don't be surprised to see Big Daddy Cool lumbering down to the ring to cost Punk the title for the second time in three months. 

Nash desperately needs something to do with Triple H out, and Punk doesn't have anything else going on once this match with Del Rio is over. It is a perfect fit for both men. Well, more so Nash than Punk because he needs to work with someone who can carry him.
