NFL Week 11 Predictions: Must-Watch Matchups That Will Come Down to the Wire

Timothy RappNov 17, 2011

Get ready for a barn burner between Jacksonville and Cleveland this week. No, I'm just kidding you guys. I'd rather watch Ben Stein in a rap battle than the Jaguars versus Browns.

Here are the games this week that will thrill you right to the end.

In the battle of the Bays, the Pack Attack will sack the Bucs late. A prediction by Dr. Seuss:

Green Bay is thrilling, they pass with great ease.

Fantasy owners with Rodgers are pleased.

And yet these great Packers let teams hang around.

Twice they have won by just a touchdown.

They beat the Saints by eight and the Vikings by six,

And the Bucs need to remain in the playoff mix.

So throw it they will on the Pack's secondary,

Who give up yards in bunches, they make the game scary.

The Green Bay surely are assuming the win,

And it should be Aaron Rodgers who has the last grin.

But take the points with Tampa, they'll give it a shot.

You don't want to miss it, this game's gonna rock!

Rivers versus Forte: A race to be this week's fantasy football MVP.

The Chargers give 127.9 yards per game on the ground per game, 24th in the NFL. Matt Forte is primed to have a huge night.

The Bears give up 269.7 yards per game in the air, 29th in the NFL. Philip Rivers and the Chargers' fourth-ranked pass offense (288.7 yards per game) are primed to have a huge night.

This game has shootout written all over it, which means that, alongside the running game, Mike Martz might open up his beloved passing game a little bit more and let Cutler throw the ball around. This one should be fun, though Rivers and the Chargers will finally win one at the end.

Enough with the rhymes and the shootouts—Cincinnati at Baltimore will be all about the defense.

Two solid defenses. Two divisional rivals. Two teams coming off of close losses. Two teams that understand the playoff implications of this game.

The Bengals and Ravens are about to do battle, baby!

The Bengals are legit, which they proved by playing the Steelers tough despite losing A.J. Green to injury in the third quarter. But the Ravens are coming off of a disappointing 23-17 loss to the Seahawks and need to reassert themselves as one of the elite teams in the NFL.

This game has 13-10 written all over it. If you are a defense aficionado, what else could you ask for?
