WWE: Does Booker T Have One More Run Left in Him?
Thursday has arrived! Where is my little drinkee?
We all read and heard the rumor by now of Booker T's impending return to the ring in the upcoming weeks and/or months right? Supposedly to start a program over the Intercontinental championship versus the former "Grotesque One." You know what that means?
Cody Rhodes! He wants the gold sucka!

This is excellent news. When he entered the ring at the Royal Rumble, the people jumped for joy as he had always been a great character to watch. Not only that, the man is in great shape even at 46 years old.
I think this is just what Cody Rhodes needs to help him make it into the main event scene. Frankly, I hope it works better than expected because the idea of Wade Barrett in his place bothers me. Nothing against Barrett but where did he come from all of a sudden?
Anyway...back to Bookah T.
It has been a great year for him thus far in 2011.
A return to WWE, the Royal Rumble, a Stone Cold Stunner and color commentary on Friday Night SmackDown. The only thing missing was a return to the ring and not just against anyone. To face the Intercontinental Champion and in the process, putting him over is a great and noble gesture on his part and worthy of a man placed in the "Legends" area of the brand new WWE '12 video game.
You know he will be just as good. I really believe that. The fans love him and sharing his skills with the next generation is the right thing to do. In a time when the product seems to have fallen from grace, it would be very unfortunate to spit on a great performer of the past still willing and able in the present.
If anything, once the run is over, perhaps Booker T can be assigned to train the Superstars of the future behind the scene or remain on commentary. He is a former World and Tag Team Champion after all, that's what I call being a total success.
There was a comment on Twitter last night posted by one of Booker's former tag partners, Goldust, who is also Cody Rhodes' brother.

"With your voices heard to @WWE, goldust vs cody at wm28.....ic title versus career. For the haters can hope i lose to cody and retire, teamgoldie can hope for an ass whoopin for the ages and new ic champ."
"Here's the deal.....the fire in me is too strong to lose to my move-stealing lemmule of a brother....experience every time."
"His ic title .....my career.....i would whoop him, take back My ic title and shatter all his dreams. Only teamgoldie can make this happen...u know how much it means to me."
Call it coincidence or fate but that would be just amazing to watch. All three great performers in the same program somehow—just wonderful!
In a nutshell, to answer the very first question, does Booker T have one more great run left in him during his career?
Definitely, yes.
Sooner rather than later please or else you will never forget the name of Giulio!
Cody Rhodes, we comin' for you ni...err um...sucka!
