NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Contenders on Upset Alert

There is a theme this week for some of the stumbling contenders.

The Jets, Giants and Lions—all postseason contenders—are coming off losses and taking on dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks.

Neither team can afford a loss, and each team has reason to be cautious.

Jets at Broncos

It is tough to call the Jets legitimate contenders right now, but they have been to two straight AFC Championship games.

This week, on a short week, they travel to Denver to take on the Broncos and Tim Tebow.

Gang Green is in a matchup nightmare from the standpoint that they have only a few days to prepare for a run offense filled with gimmicks.

The Jets should win this football game but have a lot to be wary of.

Lions vs. Panthers

Matthew Stafford and the Lions are coming off an abysmal loss to the division rival Bears.

It wasn't just a beating, it was a wake-up call.

Now they welcome in the Carolina Panthers and the ever-dangerous Cam Newton.

Detroit now has to be on upset alert, but they need to show that they're capable of bouncing back from a poor performance.

Giants vs. Eagles

This is an NFC East rivalry that needs no introduction.

The Giants and Eagles legitimately hate each other and this game is supremely important for Big Blue.

Michael Vick, sticking with the theme of the dual-threat quarterbacks taking on contenders this week, is a notorious shredder of the Giants defense.

Big Blue doesn't need to be told to be on high alert.
