NFL Week 11 Picks: Projecting Which Top QBs Will Lead Teams to a Win
There are 11 players on the field at a time, any of whom could make or break his team's chances for a victory with one mistake or one breakout performance. However, it's the quarterback who receives the most scrutiny and the most credit or blame depending on whether his team wins or loses.
This week, three quarterbacks will not only get the praise for their team's respective victories, but they will have earned them as well.
On Sunday afternoon, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers play host to the slumping Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that has lost three games in a row and four of their last five. Tampa quarterback Josh Freeman is a stark contrast to the nearly-flawless Rodgers.

However, it won't be Freeman's mistakes that solely cost the Buccaneers the game. No matter the quality of quarterback that faces Green Bay, none can match Rodgers' performance.
Rodgers has completed 215 of his 295 pass attempts—an astounding 72.9 percent of them—for 2,869 yards, 28 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He has maintained an average quarterback rating of 130.7 through nine games.
Defenses are ill-prepared to stop him and his seemingly endless army of receiving targets. With the Buccaneers' 31st-ranked pass defense next, it will be more of the same for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Sunday.
The same goes for the New England Patriots and their quarterback Tom Brady. Flat in the running game and fielding a ragtag grab bag of undrafted free agents and rookies on defense, the team is heavily relying on it's passing offense to carry them through.
And it has. The Patriots are 6-3 and currently at the top of the AFC East. Brady has completed 66.1 percent of his 360 passing attempts, for a total of 3,032 yards, 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
He's faced some seriously tough competition through his first nine games of the season. However, on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, he shouldn't have much reason to struggle.
The Chiefs defense is 30th against the pass, and with the Patriots having to rely so heavily on Brady's arm, the quarterback should have a monster outing.
One doesn't necessarily think of Eli Manning when discussing the NFL's top quarterbacks, but his performances this year thus far has propelled him into that most rarefied of company.
Manning's performance has lifted the New York Giants to 6-3 on the season. Currently, they sit atop the NFC East, edging out the Dallas Cowboys by one game.
He's thrown 320 passes and 202 completions (a 63.1 percent completion rate) for 2,688 yards, 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
With the running game having taken a huge hit with starter Ahmad Bradshaw still injured, the team has relied on Manning and his receivers to be the primary contributors on offense, and they've managed to deliver.
This week, against the lowly Philadelphia Eagles—who have lost their last two games in a row and who, at 3-6, share the bottom of the NFC East with the Washington Redskins—Manning's successful streak should continue.
Though more successful at defending the pass than they are the run, the Eagles defense will still be overwhelmed by the Giants' Manning-led offense and will notch yet another loss. Meanwhile New York's playoff hopes remain very much alive.
