WWE Survivor Series 2011 Predictions: Why John Cena and the Rock Will Win Easy

Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?

The WWE Survivor Series is almost here and everybody’s focus is on the main event.

The Rock is coming out of retirement to wrestle John Cena in April’s WrestleMania, but until then, they’re going to be teammates in a tag-team match against The Miz and R-Truth. These young guys may be infusing new blood into the sport, but there is no way they take down the Cena-Rock combo.

Cena is the best wrestler of today, and The Rock is one of the greatest in the history of the sport.

With the millions of PPV viewers and a packed Madison Square Garden…this is going to be a massacre.

Miz and Truth are collectively known as "The Awesome Truth," (weak nickname if you ask me) and they have been ripping through the WWE as a pair of outlaws. Now the Rock and Cena must put their differences aside to defeat the young guns.

The Rock may have to shake off some ring rust, but have you seen him lately? The dude is as jacked as ever and certainly doesn’t look like a guy starring in movies with babies.

I think the Rock’s sheer strength is enough to keep R-Truth at bay. The Miz can’t to this by himself.

Many believe that this match is nothing more than a setup for the April showdown, a way to churn up the interest for April. I predict that something huge will happen in this match en route to their win. Cena and The Rock both have huge followings, and something will have to give. Will one accidentally hit the other? Will this turn into a sneak preview of WrestleMania?

The big question marks surrounding this fight are whether or not  Cena and The Rock will be booed for beating their opponents to a bloody pulp. The intrigue lies in if they will turn on each other in some fashion.

In the end, The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment and Cena will get the last laugh at Survivor Series, as the anticipation for April’s WrestleMania begins to bubble over.

Survive? This is going to be a beatdown.
