WWE News: Reaction to Chris Jericho Saying He'll "Never" Wrestle for WWE Again

Chris Jericho is famous for working the Internet. 

He’ll often say one thing and mean the exact opposite, or word something in a vague manner so that no one will really know what he means. 

And it seems like that’s exactly what Jericho did with his recent controversial comment that he would “never wrestle” for the WWE again.

According to PWInsider.com, the backstage reaction to Chris Jericho's comments on Twitter about not wrestling again for WWE was mostly ignored with laughs. It seems a majority of the WWE locker room expects Jericho to return at some point.

Keep in mind, Jericho tweeted "Let me get something straight...I will never wrestle for the WWE again." It seems that some backstage feel that Jericho won't ever "wrestle" for WWE again but will "entertain" for them.

So, what was your reaction when Jericho made that comment? Did you freak out because you thought Jericho said he wasn’t coming back, or did you remember that Jericho makes these types of statements all the time? 

Personally, I didn’t fall for it. 

Like I said before, Jericho is well-known for saying or tweeting stuff like this all the time, and his intention is always the same: To get a reaction. If people start talking about Jericho and wonder why he’s not ever going to wrestle for the WWE again then he’s done exactly what he set out to do. 

He’s worked you. 

That’s fine with me, too. Professional wrestling is a business that thrives on blurring the line between reality and fiction, and quite simply, that’s what Jericho was probably trying to do. 

He may not ever “wrestle” for the WWE again, but I’d say there’s better than a 90 percent chance that he will “perform” for them. 

Come on, you troglodytes. You should know how Jericho rolls by now.
