Seahawks vs. Rams: St. Louis Will Clip Seahawks' Wings in Week 11

The St. Louis Rams, fresh off a nail-biter in Cleveland, return home to take on the Seattle Seahawks this weekend. The team was fortunate to come away victorious against the Browns, as a last-second field goal by the Browns was shanked wide left and the Rams were able to hold on.

The Seattle Seahawks are also coming off of a high, as they surprised the Baltimore Ravens and won at home. Nobody predicted that one...except me. So, even though the teams are well out of reach of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West, there is a lot of pride left. 

There is a good chance this game will be another one you can drop in the "ugly" category. Both teams are struggling to put together consistent offensive production, and both squads have been unable to stop their opponents on defense, giving up a lot of points.

I expect the St. Louis Rams to game-plan well for the Seahawks. Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is essentially a one-trick pony when it comes to what he is good at. He is an excellent runner, and he can be accurate while on the run. 

The Seahawks have been poor at running the ball this season, and when you have a quarterback that does better with a consistent running game to set up play-action, you have a recipe for disaster. 

The Rams will be able to bottle up the anemic Seahawks running game, keeping the trend going. They will also be able to get enough pressure on Jackson to cause a couple of turnovers. The secondary must play disciplined, and this has been a struggle all year, but they can win this game for the Rams.

Quintin Mikell is the key. If he continues to perform up to the high quality we've seen so far, the Rams have a good chance to win.
