The Rock Survivor Series: Mediocre Performance Will Prove The Rock Is Overrated
While The Rock is amazing on the microphone, his in-ring abilities are as overrated as his acting skills.
The great part about doing promos via satellite is that the person speaking—most often The Rock because he can’t bother to show up at actual WWE events—can be scripted.
With the help of all of his Hollywood cronies, The Rock can seem funny during every promo he cuts, as long as he has time to edit things that aren't funny out or has the chance to edit the script and record it again.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Monday’s Raw showed that he isn’t the spontaneous funny that he used to be, and most of the things he said back in the day during promos were probably scripted as well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a guy holding cue cards under the camera The Rock was speaking to.
Most of us know this is true but are just too headstrong to admit it. But, it will all be exposed at Survivor Series when John Cena steals the show.
There are no cue cards for Cena because he knows how to work the mic and the crowd, and he does it week in and week out.
When The Rock and Cena start talking face to face, it won’t be the classic Rock that fans have come to expect because Cena is the kind of wild card that CM Punk has become.
Despite using his voice for good, Cena was always one of the best speakers on the mic, and if you go back in time a bit, he can spit venom with the best of them.
The Rock was never an elite worker in the ring, but he always had the big moves that got people excited. That is no different than John Cena.
As a matter of fact, I would say that Cena is a much better in-ring worker than The Rock.
With Cena better in the ring and on the mic, The Rock will be exposed as the most overrated star in the entertainment world.
