NFL Week 11 Picks: Tim Tebow and Broncos Will Upset Struggling Jets

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow doesn't impress you with amazing stats, but he finds a way to win football games, and he will do that again when he leads an upset of the struggling New York Jets on Thursday night.

The Broncos and Jets are two teams heading in different directions right now. Denver has won three of their last four games and are now a real threat to win the AFC West division.

The Jets were beaten badly by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Sunday night, and it is now clear that quarterback Mark Sanchez is not capable of leading a team with Super Bowl ambitions.

Sanchez has a very good group of wide receivers at his disposal, including former Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes, and also has a reliable tight end in Dustin Keller. 

Sanchez just doesn't make the big plays necessary to win the biggest games. Tebow has found a way to win this season, and is 3-1 as a starter.

Tebow has shown that he can make NFL-caliber throws when the pressure is on, and his running ability causes problems for opposing defenses.

With running backs Knowshon Moreno and Willis McGahee facing constant injury issues, third-stringer Lance Ball saw a lot of action last week against the Kansas City Chiefs and played well. Ball rushed for 92 yards versus the Chiefs.

The Jets' struggles on offense are really concerning. Patriots linebacker Rob Ninkovich intercepted two passes last week and took one back for a touchdown.

The Jets offensive line also struggled on Sunday, and allowed a poor passing rushing team in the Patriots to get to Sanchez often.

Patriots defensive end Andre Carter had 4.5 sacks by himself on Sunday.

New York will lose to the Broncos on Thursday because they are not making enough plays in the passing game and are not forcing enough takeaways.

Tebow will be able to cause the Jets trouble with his running ability and composure in the fourth quarter.

The Broncos are for real, and Tebow will lead them to a third straight win, and keep their playoff hopes alive.
