Kentucky vs. Kansas: Young Wildcats Will Silence Jayhawks Early
The Kentucky Wildcats are ready to get off to a rousing start as they take on their heated rivals, the Kansas Jayhawks.
Tuesday night is sure to be filled with little defense and a whole bunch of scoring. It's a good thing, too. I need something to take the NBA blues away.
We are about to get a good measure of just how good the Kentucky Wildcats really are. There are not many who are ready to give Kansas much of a chance in this opener.

There is a ton to like about Kansas. I am confident that the Jayhawks will put their best effort on the court, but that is not going to be good enough at this time of year.
It will take some time for chemistry and maturity to foster on their squad. For Tuesday evening, pure talent will win the day. We saw just what Kentucky can do when they ran on Marist in a 108-58 rout.
I hardly expect such a scoring discrepancy in the Kansas game, but with stars aplenty, Kentucky will have the edge.
I will be keyed in on Anthony Davis, who is guaranteed to make this season one to remember. He will be the go-to guy on offense and will have his name called all game.
There is also the fact that Kentucky is playing with a chip on their shoulders. Somehow, the No. 2 team in the country thinks that they are being disrespected. It may be a laughable notion, but that is what will key the Wildcats to a victory.
The last thing they need is to feel entitled or let up against a very good Kansas team.
So, it is refreshing to hear things like what sophomore Doron Lamb said, "We want to prove to everybody we're the best team in the country."
Kentucky will attempt to prove that every single time they hit the floor, you can almost sense their hunger for wins. This team is fully aware of how good they are, and that is what makes them so excited to continue playing basketball with one another.
The rivalry gets another exciting chapter filled out and published tonight. It's one that Kentucky fans will want to savor.
